I'm burning squabbles on the stove again
I'm making friends with everyone I pissed off

I'm having my worst birthday yet

before i blow my breath against

and no-one's shouting stop
don't do it, they just yell out
you prick you blew it
which, within the context of a birthday party
sucks it all seemed to be going smooth before i started blowing
but I guess the centre couldn't hold


the only means of fixing things I'm overly familiar with
are curly fries and sellotape and Berman's last LP
it's got this song
that makes you wonder if he's alright
or if it's just one long and morbid joke
and ultimately it turns out he wasn't all that great
yeah, he was out there on the brink of one last birthday cake himself
wishing for somewhere much further out than here
